Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 July 2026. By using Embrace HD, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Embrace HD provides tools to convert video for WhatsApp-oriented HD use (including Status), save exports to your device, and optionally share them. Features may change as we improve the product.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be old enough to use the app under the laws of your country and able to form a binding contract. You sign in with a WhatsApp number you control. We store that number encrypted (as described in our Privacy Policy) and use it to deliver authentication messages. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping OTP codes private.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Your content

You retain ownership of videos you process. You grant us a limited license to process, temporarily store, and transmit that content solely to provide the conversion and export features you request. You are responsible for backing up important files.

5. Trials, subscriptions & ads

Some features (such as HD export) may require an active trial or paid subscription. Purchases are processed by the app store and/or billing partners; their refund rules apply. Non-premium users may see advertisements (for example via Google AdMob).

6. Third-party services

The app may rely on WhatsApp/Meta messaging for OTPs, cloud hosting, databases, analytics or ads, and subscription verification services. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and policies.

7. Intellectual property

The Embrace HD name, branding, and app software (excluding your content) are owned by us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” Video quality depends on your source file, device, network, and WhatsApp’s own processing after share. We do not guarantee that WhatsApp will preserve any particular quality after you post or send a file.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) £50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum allowed.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create risk for other users or our systems, or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where local law requires a different process.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
